Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007,Chapter 2 of Part 7,  there is a requirement on employers, based on a risk assessment of their work, to have sufficient numbers of Occupational First Aiders trained and deployed in the workplace. With training from TMC Instructors, our Occupational First Aid courses will satisfy your legal requirements under the the relevant regulations. All TMC Instructors are registered as Occupational First Aid Instructors with the Health & Safety Authority agent, OFAAA.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training

Participants will be trained in C.P.R.  involving the use of the A.E.D. with particular regard to safety.

The provision of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in workplaces to assist in the prevention of sudden cardiac death should be considered. Early defibrillation using an AED is one of the vital links in the “Chain of Survival”. Ideally, wherever there is an occupational first aider(s) in a workplace, provision of an AED should be considered. The training of other employees who are not occupational first aiders in the use of AEDs is also encouraged.
